People say the darndest things when you are pregnant. I try not to let the comments get to me, but I do wonder how people have the nerve or lack of tact to say certain things. They are pointless and only annoy the already irritable mom to-be. Among them:
"Was this planned?" (from a random front desk lady at the dentist office?)
"Wow, you look like you're about to pop!!" (annoying co-worker that started saying this at like 5 months, and a LOT of other strangers and friends)
"Is there only one in there?" (random lady)
"You are about to go into labor right now!" (another random lady at Macy's)
"Are you gonna make it to your due date?" (how the hell should I know??)
"Wow, you're really out there" (Thanks.)
"You're HUGE" (not such a nice way to describe me at this point)
I've started really hating going out in public, simply because I am not in the mood for the comments people think they are entitled to share with you.
Now for the nice comments I've received. They always made my day:
"You look radiant/beautiful/awesome"
"You are all belly!"
"You look like you've had a good pregnancy"
"You're glowing"
"You aren't big at all"
Please use these terms generously whenever you're around a pregnant woman. She will appreciate it greatly. Although none of the ignorant comments above made me cry, I have heard from friends that they can.
Baby Noel is nice and comfy in my belly. We think he will pass his estimated due date (11.22) and come along sometime next week. If not, we'll induce the week after.
Let me know who's cookin Turkey dinner! I need a plate... :o)

39 Weeks
- Lay on my back - can't lay on my back while pregnant as it can restrict the blood flow to baby.
- Eat sushi
- Lay on my stomach (once I've recovered from childbirth)
- Not have to pee every 10 minutes
- Go to regular yoga and keep my body nice and flexible
- Have a glass of champagne
- Fit clothes normally
- Get new shoes (I think my shoe size has permanently changed)
- Hold my son or any other child without a huge belly obstructing my lap
- Sleep without pain through the night
Yay! Baby Noel is on his way. Thank you for all of your support through this blog, and we hope the next blog will be his birth story!

Home Stretch
37 weeks, 5 days!
I am now at home, waiting for our little boy to make his grand entrance. He has *dropped* into position, which means he has moved down lower into my pelvis. This makes it harder for me to drive, stand up and sit up from laying down. If something falls to the ground, oh well! I ain't pickin it up! He is still frisky and he seems pretty comfortable nestled in my belly. (haha, he just kicked as I finished this sentence!). The pic is of our baby carrier. We stare at it every day, trying to imagine him in it. We' can't wait!!
